The Tri-City Canadians saw their impressive run come to an end on Sunday as a dominating effort by the Adidas Magic Wands shut down the undermanned squad 21-5. Essian Tap Room’s 5-1 victory wasn’t exactly entertaining, but it was enough to get them through to the semifinals, where they will be up against a solid Wands team. On the other side of the bracket, both Lacrossewear and the FROGS won one-goal games to move on as well. The FROGS continue to play well as their victory over Lacrosse.com was especially impressive given the beating that Lacrosse.com put on Blivet on Day 1. Tomorrow’s semifinals are intriguing as the top teams sort themselves out.
