Masters Division - Day 2 Report - June 29th

dot

Two semifinals highlighted Masters play on Day 2 as both Middlebury and Jagermeister moved through to tomorrow’s finals. Jagermeister was paced by John Matthews’ five goals against Lax Gear/Silver Oysters while Middlebury came back from a 5-3 deficit to win 7-5 over Lacrossewear. Jager has emerged as the slight favorite given their experienced and solid defense. Middlebury has a large squad and certainly the best cheering section in the division but Jager’s team play has them ahead in many of the staff’s minds. Their decisive win over Lax Gear/Silver Oysters was a bit of a surprise. In a slightly unpopular decision, Lax Gear/Silver Oysters will take on Lacrossewear, meaning that the Tribal Elders and Team MAC will revisit their consolation game from today.

Results:
Semifinal #1 – Middlebury 7, Lacrossewear 5
