Vail Shootout Day 7 – 12:30 pm
Sorry everyone for the delays and spotty reporting. I’m back in Denver getting ready for the Outlaws’ 4th of July game against San Francisco tonight. We are expecting a huge crowd tonight and I’m pretty excited to dress and play in front of our fans. Looks like the Pointstreak software is up and working with minimal problems. The only thing is rosters obviously, but it may be a pipe dream to ever assume we will get working rosters before the games actually begin.
I’m at a hotel in Cherry Creek right now and I think the best way to put it is to say that it’s less than desirable accommodations. The good thing is that my wife Tiana just met me here and we are going to get some lunch and hang out for a little bit before the game tonight.
Denver is buzzing right now on this holiday weekend and I’m thinking tonight will be awesome. I did miss the Avon fireworks last night. Those are usually the best in the Vail Valley. Tonight are the other Vail shows. I’ll post again before I leave for the game tonight and report on some of the games, but check the Elite page for live updates of the quarterfinals and consolation brackets.
