Day two for the U-19 girls is over, and the pool
play has come to an end. Starting tomorrow, three tiered bracket play
begins. There has been a lot of good lacrosse and amazing talent on
display the past two days. Heros is back to defend their gold division
title from last year, while M&D, PA Express, and Blue Sky are
the favorites to take it away.
Starting tomorrow the teams will be seeded into in to three brackets:
Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Gold comprises the top tournament teams
and will eventually crown the 2007 Champion. Over the next two days
look for more competitive games and feistier play from these upper
brackets.
The unusually high temperatures today definitely affected the players
and officials in the tournament. If the high temps continue, a lot
more water and Gatorade will be needed by all.
