Rammit 12, Liquid Lax 11
After a back and forth, goal trading 1st half, teams were tied at 6. At the end of regulation, there was another tie at 9. With 2 minutes left in the second 3-minute OT period, Rammit sisters Halley and Katie Moseley connected for the go-ahead and game winning goal. Liquid Lax had several chances to tie the score yet again but Rammit goalie Brooke Lewis turned away a last minute flurry to secure the win. Rammit's Katie Moseley had 3 goals and an assist, Lindsay Brown had 4 goals and an assist, and Christy Schindler had 3 goals. Liquid Lax's Gretchen Lasda had 3 goals, Jess Bromall had 4, and goalie Amy Lavoie had 14 saves.

Detroit 14, Last Chance 2
Despite having no subs and being outplayed by a younger and fresher Detroit team, Last Chance never gave up. Detroit peppered goalie Valerie Hake throughout the game but Hake was able to hold the blue from the motor city to just 14. Detroit's Emilia Ward and Alexis Pavle had 3 goals apiece in the win.

Ski+Bar 7, Juan's Mexicali 6
With 20 minutes remaining in the 2nd half and a tie game, lightening (and subsequent adult beverages) suspended play for almost 3 hours. Tensions were high as both teams returned to the field to finish a head-to-head battle. Taryn Brody scored 3 goals in Ski+Bar's victory while Michelle Pav turned away 13 saves.

Liquid Lax 13, Last Chance 4
Liquid Lax accommodated Last Chance's 2 man down roster in the spirit of fun and sportsmanship. Nicki Kucharski scored 3 of 4 goals for Last Chance and Nicole Traino had 5 of the 13 for Liquid's victory.

Lakeshore 4, Team Ohio 3
Lakeshore held Ohio scoreless in the first while tallying 4 goals and subsequently Ohio held Lakeshore to no additional goals in the 2nd half while scoring 3 in a defensive battle. Cunthia Frezzo of Lakeshore and Katie Sheridan of Ohio had 2 goals each for their respective teams.

Detroit 8, Rammit 7
This was a fast paced, highly physical, evenly matched game between two young teams. Detroit jumped to an early lead but Rammit, led by Katie Moseley and Lindsay Brown, chipped away and managed to go into the half just 1 goal down. But in the end, Detroit was able to control the pace and goalie Kristin Demorest refused Rammit their second victory of the day. Detroit's Alexis Pavle and Katie Popovich led the way with 3 goals apiece.

PA Express 11, Hootenannies 8
The competition started last night at the Tap Room social and continued this morning. The early 7:45 game proved to be a head to head, evenly matched competition. The team from Pennsylvania was led by Megan Burker with 4 goals. Hootenannies goalie Kendall Cox clearly faced a barrage of shots as she turned away 12 shots in the loss. PA express pulled ahead for the win but no one knows who won last night.

MadLax 13, Team Wild 8
The presence of Peter Kohn and loud music on the sidelines encouraged Team Wild to push through the early morning despite a slow start. MadLax kept up the intensity and led at the half. Kristy Manas led all scorers with 4 and goalie Meg Dentler continued an impressive tournament with 12 saves in this game.

ReLAXers 19, Colorado Chillax 3
ReLAXers weren't relaxing on the field today, coming out with 6 quick goals in the first 10 minutes. Colleen Dalon had 6 goals and Allison Evans added 5 in a lopsided win.

Lockton Loaded 8, Tap This 7
Even though L&L suffered 2 yellow cards and played a man down, they managed to pull out a victory after a hard fought game. Brooke McKenzie had 3 goals in the win while Cassie Abel punched in 4 goals in the loss.

Team Wild 9, Hootenannies 7
Scoring goals tit for tat, both teams put on a show in this evenly matched game. Meg Bonney and Elizabeth Renehan each had 2 goals for Wild. Despite a lengthy rain delay and jammin' music in the parking lot, the Hootenannies couldn't manage a win in this one.

Tap This 1, Colorado Chillax 0
Tap This recorded a win in the forfeit.

PA Express 7, MadLax 5
Two rain delays and continuing foul weather moved the game down the valley to Edwards. This was the most exciting game of the day as two very evenly matched teams battled back and forth until PA Express pulled ahead and secured the win. Katie Doolittle of PA and Lauren Gallagher of MadLax led the scoring with 2 goals apiece.

ReLAXers 12, Lockton Loaded 7
reLAXers continued to fool everyone by playing anything but relaxed. After a 3 hour weather delay and moving teams to different locations, the last game of the day was to determine who would play in the championship game. Lockton Loaded just couldn't get their sights set on the reLAXers and watched the team in red pull away slowly and steadily for the victory. Allison Evans scored 4 goals for reLAXers and Laura Dosdall had 2 in the losing effort.
