Division II Quarterfinals:
Magic Wands 7, Air Force 2 Magic Wands dominated early on due to some nice face off work by #11, good ball movement and team organization. Air Force had trouble on offense and struggled with unforced errors.
Rockies 6, USA Stars 1 USA Stars struggled to stay in the game as the Rockies outshot them 20-9.
Middlebury 10, Behind the Back 1 The Middlebury squad arose as the clearly superior team. Four players accounted for eight of the Middleburys ten while Behind the back struggled to get one. BTBs biggest problem was their defense, or lack thereof. They were not a threat at all to the Middlebury offense.
Tri-City 8, Cactus 4 A last second goal in the first half brought Cactus close to the Canadians. Tri-Citys steady offense took over in the second half and distanced themselves from the Arizona squad.
Division II Semifinals:
Magic Wands 8, Rockies 4 The Magic Wands move on to the Division II finals in Super Masters with a convincing win over the Rockies.
Middlebury 4, Tri-City 1 Middleburys power squad of seniors overtook the Canadian Tri-City team 4-1. Middleburys shooters were just too much.
Division II Consolation:
USA Stars 4, Air Force 3 This game came down to the wire with Air Force failing on a last minute USA Stars penalty. Both teams played well in the days most exciting game.
Cactus 9, Behind the Back 2 Cactus controlled the ball and game in this resounding victory.
