Team Rock-It Pocket![]() #7 - Rock-It Pocket Coach: Flip Naumburg Key Players: A Craig Nolan (Ohio State, '06), LSM Mark Plonkey (Colorado State, '04), A Kelten Johnson (Colorado State, '04), A Lance Vitt (Ohio State, '05) Capsule: What Middlebury is to Guttman, Colorado State is to Rock-it Pocket. With a squad that is mostly made up of current and former CSU players, RIP has improved every year in the last three at Vail. An 8th place finish in 2002 was followed up by a surprising 6th place showing in 2003, including a come from behind win against Warrior and a one goal loss to Guttman in the 5th place game. While the majority of the team wore green and gold in college, Rock-it Pocket has rounded up a few ringers this year as well. Craig Nolan and Lance Vitt from Ohio State will help form a tough attack group while Troy Ergenbright (Rutgers) bolsters the defense. LSM Mark Plonkey was a consensus All-American three straight years at CSU and will patrol the middle. For Rock-it Pocket to improve on their 2003 showing, they will rely on the "family" attitude that has brought them so much success at the MDIA level. 1OMike Hamm 1 Garth Heath 2 Nick Harper 3 Pete Jokish 4 Ryan Ferrin 7 Kelton Johnson 8 Pat Bird 9 Jared Katz 11 Mike Napolilli 12 Derek Koll 13 Mike Roth 14 Tim Farquher 15 Ryan Robichand 16 Lance Vitt 17 Mark Plonkey 18 Lauen Husson 19 Phil Eichhorne 20 Pat Coy 21 Brett Koll 22 Michael Murphy 23 Kale Nelson 24 Pete Meyers 25 John Nabb 26 Alex Smith 27 Scott Micolli 28 Rory Burke 29 Kelin Bershinsky 31 Kurt Nakazono 32 Eric Bloom 33 Ryan Price 34 Joe Glischinski |
