Capsule: Another team that heavily draws on MDIA talent, Lacrosse Giant/Tap Room preps for the 2004 Shootout after a disappointing 15th place finish last year. The team will be led by goaltender Chris Bluse, a four-time MDIA All-American from the University of Colorado. With a good portion of the roster made up of players who either grew up or went to school in Colorado or California, Lacrosse Giant/Tap Room to some extent represents the growth and expansion of lacrosse into the West. Attackman Danny Metoyer has been a three-time All-American for the Chapman Panthers on the west coast and will lead the offense. When not on the field, you will find the team enjoying the Vail night life starting each evening at the Tap Room, located at the top of Bridge Street (333 Bridge St). The team also thanks its other home sponsor, Sanctuary.
