Winner's Bracket (Games at Ford Field)

#1 NW Jammin' Salmon 13, #9 Rock-It Pocket
7
Rock-it Pocket played hard and kept the game close throughout most of the contest. With 2:28 left in the third, RIP pulled within one goal, making the game 7-6. Lance Vitt led RIP with four goals. Alex Smith had 29 saves in net for Pocket in the loss. Despite keeping control throughout most of the game, Jammin' Salmon really lost its cool on the sidelines. Their leading scorer was Joe High with 3g, 1a.

#2 Harrow Team Colorado 15, #7 Team Dulles 4

After a close first quarter, Team Colorado turned it on in the second and third, led by three goals from Bill Edell. Dulles goalies Rob Scherr and Mark Grilo combined for 20 saves in the loss.

#3 Lax.com/Team Mercury 14, #11 Team Guttman 11

Guttman jumped out to a 3-0 lead through the first quarter, but Lax.com stormed back with a 7-2 run in the second quarter. Guttman outscored Lax.com in the third 4-2 to tie the game, but three goals from Brian Mie of Lax.com within five minutes in the fourth secured the victory.

#12 GMH 11,
#4 Team Warrior 8
In a relatively close game, Warrior could not finish their opportunities in the second half. Both teams were matched well and played hard to the end. Steve Govett led all scorers with three goals and two assists for Warrior. GMH will now head to the semifinals in their first year of competition in the Shootout.

Men's Consolation Bracket (Games at Edwards Field)

#5 Bullets Lacrosse 9, #13 LacrosseGiant.com 7

Team LacrosseGiant.com looked like they had rolled out of bed just minutes before the opening face and quickly fell to a 4-0 defecit. A strong second quarter and a consistent second half made the game close, but it was too little, too late as the Bullets shot past for the win.

#6 Team Fubar 10, #14 Team Orvis 7

Today's match-up between Orvis and Fubar was very evenly played. The only noticeable difference was the score, with Fubar coming out on top.

#16 Team Merrill Lynch 12, #8 MCLC 8

ML avenged their earlier loss by defeating MCLC 12-8. Though ML's players seemed at odds with one another, and in generally poor spirits, they managed to pull toge3ther and add one to the win column.

#10 Rocky Mountain Oysters
13, #15 QC Lax 4
The Rocky Mountain Oysters' tough defense kept them from getting any momentum. The final score in this lopsided affair was 13-4.
