Team Ohio
Flatlanders coming through, we're back and ready to hit the mountains again. This years Ohio players are a mix of Vail veterans and newcomers. A key newcomer for Team Ohio is Abbe Stewart from Denison University. As goalie, she will do anything to stop the ball from getting to the back of the net. The defense will be lead by Ohio University's Molly Wurdack and Denison Alum Nicole Robbins. Liz Ford, Abby Galipault, Emily Stevens, and three sets of siblings will make the transition between defense to offense. These sister combinations of All American Amy Hemmelgarn and OU's Emily Hemmelgarn, Regional All American Jaime Fox and her younger sister, and Stephanie and Lauren Elder will bring the true meaning of sibling connections onto the lacrosse field. Finally leading the charge towards the opponents net will be OU's Diane Villareal and Offensive player of the Year (NCAC) Bridget Curley from Denison University. Team Ohio's talented crew is ready to play hard both on and off the field during this 2002 Vail Tournament. See you all there.
